Specializing in true flat water speed, the Blade has a more direct direct displacement entry and less rocker than the Slice. The hull has sharp rails throughout with a full double concave for channeling water. Although it's one inch thinner than it's yellow sister, it finds more stability in the double concave / sharp rail combination. If dealing with slapping chop and waves, however, the Slice may have the advantage.
